Schedule

My schedule is where i keep up to date with what i have to do and what had to be done. This helped me in my planning as i always knew what i had to do next.

Sell Lines

List of Sell Lines

'SKRILLEX'
'Nero'
'Two Door Cinema Club'
'Foster the people'
'Friendly Fires'
'Madness'
'Sub-Focus'
'Rizzle Kicks'

'Its Amazing'
'How did i get here?!'
'The craziest Night of my life'
'Free tickets to Nero'
'Win a Holiday abroad to see Sub-Focus'
'Top Ten Bands this winter'

Final Ideas

'Rise of Two Door Cinema Club' - The first magazine sell line i am going to be using will be this as the band is a typical indie band and are very well known therefore my intended audience will see this relate to it and want to buy the magazine as they have an interest.

'Win Tickets To Reading 2012' - Yet again my audience will read this and want to win therefor making them buy the magazine, reading also relates to my audience as its a indie/rock genre festival.

'I Feed Off Fame' - This tag line is different as it has a different message, and doesnt tell the audience exactly what it is on about but also draws them in as its a quote from someone  famous therefore the audience want to find out and see who they are.

'A chance to win an Iphone 4s' - Yet again to enduldge the audience into thinking they are going to win something, therefore persuading them into buying the magazine as there is a chance they could win something, also the Iphone 4s is very popular and appeals to a younger Audience.

'SKRILLEX INSIDE' - I also like this sell line as it doesnt tell the audience exactly whats inside but gives them a sneak peak of what is inside and will persuade them to buy the magazine as big artists are feautured inside such as SKRILLEX and many others.

Proposal

The magazine I am going to be producing will be following certain aspects and stereotypes to make it appeal to a demographic audience. I have chosen to produce a music magazine of the indie rock genre, to make it recognisable to be an indie rock magazine I will be researching current magazines such as Kerrang, NME, Q, Bang and many more so I can gather all the specifications to make the best magazine possible and that would appear professional and classy and couldn’t be told apart from any current indie rock magazines on the shelf today.
My magazine will include a front cover with an appealing main image that would relate to the indie audience and have a a masthead, sell lines, plugs & ears, information and competitions and many other music magazine aspects, I will also have a contents page letting my audience know what is featured inside and have the most important stuff on show, also having my model featured on this page to. Last  of all I will be making a double page spread featuring an interview with a new and upcoming artist, and have many professional photos displayed on this page including props and clothing to make my model appear to be a real artist and to represent the indie rock look to the best of my ability.
My target audience for my magazine is from age 16-24 making it a young target audience but also an easier audience to appeal to as this is the age where they begin to have strong interests in music and how they look, also being the age where you begin to get jobs my magazine will be easily affordable. I believe my magazine will appeal to this audience as everything included in my magazine will relate to their lifestyle and how and what they do, it will also offer them new interests and chances to win competitions. My magazine isn't really gender based and appeals to both women and men, as its music based and doesn’t resolve around certain aspects of lifestyle, and has contents that both men and women would like. My magazine will be aimed at the middle class audience, as its not an expensive magazine, but is classy and professional, however represents that ‘young and crazy’ lifestyle.
My magazine will be published by IPC, who also publish NME, the magazine I am using as a guideline on how to create the best indie rock magazine I can, by using this publisher my audience can recognise it as being a good magazine as NME is and will buy it as they trust the publisher.
